Building Permit Application

Anyone wishing to build, restore an existing structure, or make modifications to it must obtain a building permit.

What documents are required to apply for a building permit?

The building permit application must include:

  1. A written request on plain paper, signed by the applicant or their representative. (2 copies)
  2. A property certificate, a court judgment, or any document proving ownership of the land intended for construction. (2 copies)
  3. A construction project plan. (5 copies)
  4. A receipt of personal income tax or corporate tax declaration. (2 copies)
  5. A receipt showing payment of taxes related to the property concerned by the building permit application. (2 copies)
  6. A study detailing the minimum technical specifications for energy savings in the construction and extension of residential and office buildings, for any covered area exceeding 500 m².
    (Prepared by the project’s architect, an engineering firm, or a consulting engineer, and approved by a technical controller authorized by the Ministry of Equipment, Housing, and Territorial Development in the building sector) (5 copies)
