Law No. 122 of 1994 dated November 28, 1994 related to the issuance of the Land Use and Urban Planning Code.

A building constructed with a valid building permit does not require authorization. The citizen can directly contact the National Sanitation Office (ONAS).

If the building is not constructed in accordance with a building permit, the decision to grant or deny the authorization is made by a special technical committee formed for this purpose.

• An application on plain paper signed by the applicant, including necessary information: address and building permit reference.
• Property title or equivalent document for the property in question.
• Certificate of clearance for the payment of municipal taxes for all properties within the municipal area.

• File submission
• File review and field inspections
• Submission of the file to the local committee
• Issuance of the authorization to the citizen

Within one month from the date of file submission.
