✅ Eligibility Conditions
- The application for a duplicate family record book may be submitted by a divorced woman who has not remarried and has been granted custody by court ruling.
- A widow who retains custody, unless otherwise ordered by a court.
🗂 Required Documents
- File must include the following documents:
- Certificate of loss
- ID photo of the head of household
- Copy of the husband's national ID card
- Marriage certificate
- Birth certificate of both spouses
- Birth certificates of other family members
- Applicable fee for the family record book

📝 Notes
- Note 1: Only a qualified civil registrar may add or modify information in the family record book.
- Note 2: In the event of the death of the head of household or legal incapacitation, the spouse retains the right to keep the record book unless a court decides otherwise.
- Note 3: Civil status documents issued from the family record book have the same legal value as those issued from the original registry.
- Note 4: Anyone knowingly using documents from a family record book containing false or incomplete information is subject to one year in prison and a fine of 240 dinars.
